What I like about this concept is that it’s not trying to turn gardeners into farmers. It’s just about selling the extra stuff you already grow, to people nearby who actually want it.

About Gardenhood

Rooted in Community, Growing Together

Gardenhood was born from a simple observation: every summer, gardens overflow with produce that often goes to waste, while neighbors just streets away wish they had access to fresh, local food. We are here to bridge that gap.

Our Story

It started in 2025 when our founder, Abhi, found himself with more zucchini than his family could ever eat. A quick post on a neighborhood forum connected him with three families eager for fresh vegetables β€” and sparked an idea.

What if there was a dedicated space for neighbors to share their garden bounty? A place where the couple growing heirloom tomatoes could connect with the young family down the block, where the herb enthusiast could sell their extra basil to neighbors who'd actually use it?

Gardenhood is that place β€” a hyperlocal marketplace designed to celebrate the abundance of home gardens and strengthen the bonds within our communities.
